So the gbas gbos happened when Edison decided to ask the question "What is that one rule in your industry that you would like to change and why?" Who sent him?
Like everywhere became a market place. The look on Edison's face in the photo says it all. Like who sent me? Wait, it wasn't bad oh!
It was fun. From talking about changes in the workplace, to hot conversation and back and forth on women deciding to be baddies.. (reference the woman that started all of that) then we talked about hard and soft skills.
Dela likes attention. See the way she is feeling cool that everyone is looking at her.
What was she even saying here? Oh she was summarizing the role of women in the workplace and adding ginger to the already spicy conversation.
We laughed and exchanged wild ideas. Proper chaos in a creative way.
We eventually ended that room and people could choose to go to any of the three rooms happening at the same time. Creative Spark Lounge, Hackathon & Games.

We are so chaotic that we had to do something radical to get people talking. You slap sitckers on the floor with your name and skill on the floor and people will pick one they find interesting and look for you and start networking.
Some people found one person and didn't leave the person alone oh. I am sure some people came to look for boyfriends and girlfriends. Na joke oh!.
The Creative Spark Lounge definitely took a lot of attention. People even did spoken word.
Dela plays werewolf everyday. So she was ready to mafia people in the games room.
Do you remember when I said that Godson and Rhoda were bonding over scrabbles ? And that Phoebe, Esther and Alberta hijacked the table playing monopoly? Dela had to go and pepper dem to play our innovative mafia game. After we have designed it, printed it and brought it you won't play it? You lie bad. You shall play.
Over in the Games Room, things got messy and the game is like Mafia/Werewolf/Among Us. Villagers and seekers were slaughtered while the mafias lived!
In the game people will sleep and wake up and some people have been mafiaed.
The serious people and nerds and oversabis also met in a room.They looked like cool kids. Dbees, half dbees, and the rest.
This room was Maddd! It was Lit!
Emefa, Godson and Rhoda (Ei here again) They held things down with the hackathon. People deciding they are super heroes and they want to save the world. You get the idea?
Three teams were formed.
They came up with serious ideas and solutions to solve serious problems.
They even developed prototypes. E-WASTE BINS, COMMUNITY CENTER AND STARTUP FUNDING PLATFORM.

Did we even end? Oh yeah we did. lol. Community centre won. People got the chance to plug what they do one last time. Edison made promises of action steps going forward.. but he has not taken the action yet oh. This is his reminder. Shhh!
But we had so much fun. Great connections, met new people, and shared lots of amazing ideas and memories. What is life without great memories. And oh, there was food and drinks. We put them outside so people have to walk to the grill to get some. That way it won't finish early. And that strategy worked.
